The World Outdoors Charter Policy Custom | Custom Questionnaire | Charter | Incentive Trips Due to an unexpected increase in interest to charter specific dates of our trips, we have redesigned our charter policy. We expect many of our dates to sell out this year, so any prospective groups are advised to charter early. A "charter" is a group that books a trip exclusively, no group smaller than 10 may charter a trip, and our maximum group size is 13. For what is included and what is not, see our attached itineraries. All charters are run the same as our regular trips. No custom itineraries are available; charters must fit into our existing program with all itineraries, guides, and logistics identical to our regularly scheduled trips. Familiarization/Comp tour listed below reflects full discount. No additional discounts are available. The World Outdoors continues to advertise dates until deposits are received, and once The World Outdoors accepts a regular reservation, the date becomes unavailable for a charter. Once a deposit is received for a charter, the date is not available to any other group of individuals. The World Outdoors cannot hold a charter date based on anything except a deposit. To confirm a charter, we require a deposit of 25% of the total cost of the charter. This deposit is nonrefundable. An additional 25% deposit, which is partially refundable, is due 90 days prior to deposit. The final payment, which is partially refundable, is due 90 days prior to departure. Our complete cancellation policy is detailed below. Payment of deposit reflects the payee's acceptance to adhere to The World Outdoors' cancellation policy. Familiarization/Comp space. One outfitter/agent/organizer may join the trip, free of charge. Charter Reservations and Cancellation Policy
If a group organizer has already paid the non-refundable deposit and realizes they cannot sell the required number of seats to pay their costs, their guests may join another regular The World Outdoors trip on the same dates. These guests will make payments in full directly to The World Outdoors, but no refund of the initial 25% will be credited to the outfitter / agent / organizer. If the person pays by credit card, a further 3% fee is deducted from the outfitter / agent / organizer's commission. No partial refunds or credits will be given for unused services and no refunds will be allowed for any reason once the trip has begun. In case of late bookings, full payment is required at the time of reservation. If payment has not been received by the specified deadline we reserve the right to assume cancellation and continue to sell the trip ourselves. Any condition out of our control that delays your arrival or departure may add to your cost; all extra charges caused by delays (late luggage / extra flights) or any variations from the itinerary (early departure / evacuation) will be at customer expense. All payments to The World Outdoors will be made by check. Credit cards are not acceptable for charters. Questions? |
