Loved the area of the country. Great lay-out of trip. Certainly exposed us to more hiking & biking than we ever would have done without the structure of the trip……so it was invaluable!!!

Discovering hidden treasures (the "Blue Lagoon" along the Lake Crescent Mt. [The highlights of the trip included the ] bike trail and a "secret" cove on the Juan de Fuca Trail where we lunched with more than 15 harbor seals). The guides were super at not giving away every last detail of each activity so that we had that feeling of really "discovering" something special, of being away from the beaten path. It is also excellent that the guides, as they learn more about an area, can provide alternatives to the written agenda (the itineraries are not written in stone) and that often makes a trip even better. Sometimes a small "tweek" can make the difference between just doing what the group last week did and having a truly special, unique experience.

We've been told by many of our past guests that they begin with high expectations as a result of their positive experiences on previous trips with us and that we still inevitably meet or exceed those expectations. That's why you'll often see Fully Met Expectations reviews that are filled with comments more befitting of a higher rating.
