Fiji Multisport Tour

A Hiking, Biking, Snorkeling and Kayaking Adventure in the "Hidden Paradise"

Fiji is a dolphin arching high above your boat, the gliding swoop of an orange forest dove and the smiles of excited children singing to the beat of a log drum. Fiji can sizzle with excitement or murmur with tranquility. Join us to experience this friendly tropical paradise where rushing is rude and the name of a new friend is never forgotten.

Day 1: Arrival in Fiji and Flight to Savusavu

A scenic flight from Nadi’s International Airport brings us to Savusavu, where we’re met on arrival and transferred to Naveria Heights Lodge, our home for the next week. Savusavu is located on Fiji’s second largest island of Vanau Levu, known to locals as Fiji’s "hidden paradise". Its mountainous landscape brims with rainforests, coconut plantations and fantastic ocean views, and it's famous for its diving, snorkeling, kayaking and sailing. Each day's planned activities throughout the tour are completely up to you--you can do as many or as few as you wish.

Days 2-4: Hiking, Biking, Kayaking and Snorkeling

Our activities for the next three days begin with a hike from a remote village to a secluded jungle waterfall and a refreshing dip in the freshwater pool at its base. We enjoy a Fijian lovo lunch and have an opportunity to sample the traditional Fijian drink of friendship, kava, with the village chief. The next day we're off for a bike ride along a hilly ridge with ocean and mountain views and then along a two-mile stretch of beach with a stop for some snorkeling and a cool swim. The afternoon is free to relax or visit a kura farm. The following morning we're off on a full day kayaking adventure. We head up a jungle river past caves and through a maze of mangroves and small steams to a remote village where we enjoy a traditional lunch and a lesson in hand-line fishing.

Days 5-8: Beach Time, Hiking and Departure

We follow three quite active days with a day for swimming, snorkeling and relaxing with a picnic lunch on the beach. Next up is a hike through the pristine Navatu Valley. We hike through several villages and delight in the bird life and gorgeous views. We stop for a picnic lunch at a river pool then return to the lodgefor a relaxing massage. Then we're off on a scenic drive to a scenic drive to a mountain village from where we hike into the surrounding hills, crossing small rivers along a jungle trail into an area that's a favorite of the locals for hunting wild pigs. Reaching an enormous waterfall, we relax in one of the many pools or soak under its rainbow cascade. Back at the lodge later that afternoon we have time to relax and enjoy the garden before dinner. Sadly, our Fijian holiday must end and we transfer after breakfast on the final day to Savusavu airport for flights to Nadi and home.
