Croatia Multisport Tour
Hike, Bike, Rock Climb, Sea Kayak, Canyoning and Culture
Whatever your expections, you'll be unprepared for the warmth of the welcome in Croatia. Hike amidst the wild beauty of Krka National Park, mountain bike through the countryside, go canyoning along the Cetina River, and sea kayak among the exquisite islands of the Adriatic Coast.
Days 1-3: Split-Krka National Park-Trilj
Transfer to the hotel from the airport and enjoy a welcome dinner this evening. Get a taste of Split's vibrant nightlife or just stroll along the seaside promenade. The following day we visit Krka National Park, known for its limestone gorges and waterfalls. A bike ride delivers us to 150-foot Skradinski Falls where we can cool off in the river's inviting pools. Another day of biking takes us through the rolling hills along the Cetina River.
Days 4-6: Korkula Island-Dubrovnik-Elafiti Islands
A ferry delivers us to Korcula Island, bithplace of Marco Polo, where we explore the city on this greenest of the islands. This is a wonderful Dalmatian city with its protective wall, round defensive towers, and clusters of red-roofed houses. A morning ferry returns us to the mainland and Dubrovnik, jewel of the Adriatic and the most beautiful and well preserved city in Croatia, for a tour of the old city. Sea kayak among the breathtaking Elafiti Islands, a string of mostly uninhabited islands. Have a picnic lunch on a deserted beach, snorkel in a glorious bay and enjoy your time in the sun.
Days 7-8: Omis-Cetina Canyon
Enjoy a morning of whitewater rafting through the Class II and III rapids of the 600-foot deep Cetina Canyon. The following day is a trip highlight--canyoning in the Cetina River Canyon. Canyoning combines hiking, climbing, rappelling and swimming and allows us to explore the canyon's waterfalls, rapids and subterranean tunnels in ways never before possible.
Days 9-10: Split-Trogir
Our guide leads us through the streets of the coastal city of Split, where we visit ancient Diocletian's Palace, pick up a bargain in the market, and enjoy a drink in a café bar on the "Riva". After some last minute shopping in the ancient city of Trogir, we transfer to the airport for flights home.
