Fiji Multi-Sport

Hike, Bike, Raft, Snorkel, Sea Kayak and Dive in Exotic Fiji

Fiji is the exhilaration of an arching dolphin, the gliding swoop of an orange dove, and the smiles of children dancing to the beat of a log drum. Fiji can sizzle with excitement or murmur with the calm of pristine nature. Swim, snorkel and dive among gardens of soft coral and a rainbow of marine life, raft remote rivers and walk through lush rainforest. Experience Fiji as few have as you immerse yourself in the adventure and culture of this colorful paradise!

The following describes the 2008 itinerary. There are some differences in the 2007 program.

Days 1-2 Nadi-Mt. Batilamu. After check in we warm up with a bike ride on back roads through native villages with views of the Pacific. The next day we embark on a journey following the footsteps of the first Fijians through protected rainforest to the volcanic highlands. The hike to the top of Mt. Batilamu is nothing short of stunning!

Days 3-4 Coral Coast. Spend a day sampling a variety of resort activities or just lounge by the pool. Then we kayak through mangrove forests on Fiji's beautiful coastline to the open sea and sandy beaches. Paddle through the warm tropical waters to a nearby reef for a snorkel among the colorful tropical sealife.

Day 5 Navua River. Raft or kayak the beautiful Class II-III Navua River, which is decorated with over 70 tropical waterfalls. This amazing gorge offers perhaps one of the most unique journeys in all of Fiji, a place where black volcanic walls thrust upward, fringed by emerald rainforest and some of the wildest and most beautiful landscapes in Fiji.

Day 6 Interior. Fly over treetops, streams and rivers with the Pacific visible to one side as we experience the thrill of a zipline rainforest canopy tour. There are nine runs, as long as 600 feet and as much as 100 feet above the ground. Time permitting, we stop at an organic farm which grows vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper and cloves and then head back to the pleasures of our Coral Coast resort.

Day 7 Mamanuca Islands. Set sail aboard a 110-foot schooner for the Mamanuca Islands, stopping at two uninhabited islands to explore the wonders of the pristine reef system, crystal clear waters, and white sandy beaches. A sunset cruise back to port features musical entertainment by your crew. We have time to freshen up before our airport transfer.
