Hike and Sea Kayak from Katahdin to Acadia

Blessed with an abundance of rugged, unspoiled coastline and easy-to-climb mountains, Maine is a vibrant patchwork of classic villages, colorful forests, serene lakes, and pristine beaches. Add sweet ripe blueberries and succulent lobster, charming inns and the state's top-rated hikes, and you have the best of New England pure and simple.

Day 1: Bangor-Baxter

After a shuttle from Bangor, we venture into the Maine woods with a hike to Mount Sentinel with views of Katahdin and Kidney Pond.

Day 2: Chimney Pond-Great Basin

Today we immerse ourselves in this place of discovery with a hike from Chimney Pond to the Great Basin, hiking above treeline with stunning views of Katahdin.

Day 3: Bar Harbor-Acadia National Park

After a morning shuttle to Bar Harbor explore the white sand beaches and the rocky points of Maine's breathtaking coastline from sea kayaks.

Day 4: Acadia National Park

Hike Acadia National Park's famous coastline to the summits of Sargent and Penobscot Mountains with lunch in one of the park's most remote areas.

Day 5: Acadia National Park

From here we set off on a 16+ mile cycling journey long the shores of Witch Hole Pond, Eagle Lake, Jordan Pond and Bubble Pond. This afternoon is free to explore the shops and galleries of downtown Bar Harbor or to just spend some time poolside at the hotel.
